Reporting keeps this place worth being in. Here's every way to do it — and what happens next.
During a conversation
Tap Report in the conversation controls, pick a category and, if you like, add a short description. The conversation ends immediately, you'll never be matched with that person again, and they are never told who reported them.
After a conversation
The post-conversation screen includes “Report a concern” for a short while after a chat ends — use it if something only sank in afterwards.
Anything else
For safety matters that can't be captured with in-app reporting — or if you have information about serious abuse of the platform — email our safety team directly at safety@sayhallo.fun. If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
What happens to reports
- Reports about suspected minors and threats of violence are prioritised above all others.
- Repeated reports restrict a session automatically while review happens.
- Report metadata is retained per our privacy notice; reporter identity is never shared with the reported person.
